Bodnant Garden

Nestling in the Snowdonia foothills is one of the world’s most magical gardens. With its dramatic scenery, historic plant collections, Champion trees and glorious views it will capture your heart and live long in your memory. An 80 acre paradise, established in 1874 by a Victorian entrepreneur and filled with plants collected by famous global explorers. Feast on Italianate finery in the Terraces, tranquility in the dappled shade of the Shrub Borders, drama in the Dell with towering conifers, a waterfall, Boathouse and lake, and – opening in Spring – Furnace Wood and Meadow. In spring enjoy swathes of daffodils, camellias, magnolias and rhododendrons. Summer brings forth roses, lily ponds, herbaceous beds and wildflower meadows; with rich leaf colours in autumn and sparkling, frosty landcapes in winter – truly a garden for all seasons.
